Party appetizers and small bites are my weakness! With the holidays around the corner, it was time to think of some party appetizer ideas. This is how the idea of these BLT cracker bites cake up.
I’m a huge fan of Multi Grain crackers and when I saw Wasa, I knew I needed to try them!
They are just perfect!
I got them at my local Mariano’s store, they are available at the crackers aisle. There are two other flavors available : Wasa Thins Rosemary & Sea Salt and Wasa Thins Sesame & Sea salt.
I’ve tried a lot of crackers in my life, but Wasa are one of the best brands I’ve had!
The full-bodied flavor of four perfectly blended, wholesome grains (rye, wheat, oats and barley) is in every bite of our Multi Grain bread.
The oat flakes and rye bran topping add delicious complexity to each extra-crunchy thick slice.
There are four wholesome grains in every bite of Multi Grain crispbread, satisfying crunch, perfect canvas for creative snacking. Because snacking is my weakness! I can live on snacks!
Especially now, when I have a baby, often times I’m so hungry, so I need to have some crackers, while I’m cooking dinner/working on the blog.
What I love about Wasa Crackers is that they are : Non-GMO Project Verified, All natural, High Fiber, Whole Grains Council seal, Kosher, no preservatives, Low calorie crunchy snack.
These crackers are also perfect for entertaining. Sturdy enough to hold decisious toppings.
Since I love blt sandwiches, I decided to make myself some BLT cracker bites with Wasa .
Besides bacon, I also used prosciutto on some of the bites. If you aren’t a fan of lettuce, you can substitute spinach for it.
Holidays are around the corner. I have some parties planned as well as a girl’s night ( we do it every few months and usually before Christmas with 3 of my closest friends). As a food blogger, they often expect from me to wow them with new, simple and creative snacks/appetizers. I thought that these crunchy BLT bites will pe perfect for this kind of events.
Go grab some Wasa Multi Grain Crackers, prosciutto, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes and this delicious snack will be ready in no time!
You can spread cream cheese on these crackers, underneath the lettuce, but I decided to keep this snack on the lighter side.

BLT CRACKER BITES WITH WASA
Ingredients
- 1 pack Wasa Crackers Multi Grain
- 6 slices cooked bacon, , chopped
- 6 slices prosciutto
- 6 campari tomatoes, , each cut into 6 slices
Instructions
- Layer lettuce/spinach over crackers.
- Add tomatoes.
- Add bacon/prosciutto on top.
- Serve immediately.

I LOVE Wasa crackers! I really do. One of my favorite snack. And these bites looks fantastic. Prosciutto and tomatoes goes perfectly with crispy wasa.
