Thongs holding bacon wrapped chicken thighs

My family loves chicken thigh recipes. Therefore I cook have to with them pretty often.

These Bacon Wrapped Chicken Thighs are one of my favorite go to dinner dishes, when I’m short on time.

I also have a great recipe collection of Boneless Skinless Chicken Thigh recipes.

Even though I used boneless skinless chicken thighs on this recipe, you can still use bone-in chicken thighs or even chicken breast.

Why do I find the boneless thighs perfect to be used? Because they cook faster and you can just cut through them and eat, so this makes everything so much easier!

With the bone-in chicken thighs, although many people would argue have more flavor, you have to worry about removing the bacon and then the bones when eating. This way you cave time for cooking.

This seriously is the best bacon wrapped chicken recipe. And of course the easiest!

What ingredients do I need to make these Bacon Wrapped Chicken Thighs?

  • boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • paprika
  • Vegeta seasoning (optional)
  • bacon
  • olive oil

You can easily use your favorite chicken seasoning in this chicken wrapped in bacon recipe. I used a simple combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. In other words you don’t need to worry about the spices. You probably already have them in your pantry.

I also added just a little bit of Vegeta all-purpose seasoning. It is a Croatian spice, that consists of salt and dehydrated vegetables.

It is completely optional to use. Keep in mind that if you decide to use it, it has salt in it. If you don’t, just add some more salt to the chicken thighs. How much more salt? Between 1/8 and 1/4 tsp. You can also use dehydrated vegetable stock.

There is no sugar in the recipe, the amount of protein and fat make these Bacon Wrapped Chicken Thighs for people on Keto. Just choose your favorite low-carb side dish to serve it with.

My favorite side dishes are Oven baked Radishes and Roasted Brussels Sprouts With Bacon. This Mashed Cauliflower With Parmesan and chives is also really good!

  1. Hi! I trust your recipes 110%, and I want to make some cake pops. However, I noticed you don’t have any cake pop recipes on here. Could you upload a recipe for maple bacon (or plain!) cake pops please? Thank you very much!

      1. P.S.
If it’s not too much trouble, I don’t own a cake pop pan. Maybe the recipe could be for cake mixed with frosting cake pops? Thanks again!

  2. I boiled my bacon for about 5 minutes ย in a cast iron pan before wrapping ,that way I knew it was cooked and didnโ€™t have to worry about theย extra ย broiling stepย

    1. I also do it sometimes, especially with chicken breast or if I wrap shrimp in bacon. For those thighs I never did, but it is nice to do, to ensure bacon is crispy.

  3. “These Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs are one of my favorite go to dinner dishes, when Iโ€™m short on time.” Huh? There is no honey or mustard in this recipe.
