Button White Air Fryer Mushrooms in a bowl

Looking for a fast and easy way to cook mushrooms? Try making them in the Air Fryer. This recipe works for button white, Baby Bella, Shitake or Oyster Mushrooms. You may need to add a little more oil for the last two varieties.

It is best if mushrooms are the same size, or are cut into pieces, that are the same size. Leave the stems on or just remove them.

You can use any seasoning of your choice, that goes well with mushrooms.

Mushrooms have an earthy, meaty flavor and are one of the foods that contain umami, the fifth primary taste. Umami has a savory, brothy taste that spreads across  the tongue and lingers in your mouth.
