Did you have a nice weekend? Did you watch the game?

I’m very excited to share this recipe with you today, because I love salads and I know a lot of my readers do, too!

The best part about preparing this salad it that it literally takes minutes. It tastes so good!

I like adding protein to my salads, to make them more filling. I pretty much always use grilled chicken breast. I sometimes grill a few chicken breasts on the weekend and then use them in salads during the week. It does require some prep work and then you need to use the chicken up in a few days after making it. I’ve found myself wasting some meat at times, when I don’t make as many salads as I’ve planned.

I’m happy to report that I’ve found the perfect store-bought frozen grilled chicken and it is: Tyson® Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast Strips. I got it from the frozen meat section at my local Walmart.

While at Walmart, I also got Wish-Bone® Regular Italian Dressing, which tastes amazing.

This salad is just perfect for a week day lunch, you can also take it to work.

Using Tyson® Grilled & Ready, which only takes a few minutes to prepare and Wish-Bone® salad dressing  saves a lot of time.

Tyson® Grilled & Ready is Made with 100% All Natural Ingredients and White Meat Chicken, fully cooked and has no preservatives, and it is very convenient to make.

Wish-Bone® Italian Salad Dressing is full of herbs, seasonings and flavors for an extra zesty boost of flavor. It had no high fructose corn syrup.

For this salad I used chopped lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, green onions, grilled Halloumi cheese, Tyson® Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast Strips and Wish-Bone® Italian Salad Dressing.

Halloumi is a semi-soft cheese, made with sheep’s and goat’s milk. It has high melting point and it is perfect for grilling. Since it is a little cold here and I did not feel like firing up the grill, I grilled the halloumi in a ribbed skillet on the stove top.It took 5-6 minutes to cook and it paired well with the rest of the ingredients in the salad.
