Sparkling Lavender Cocktail – made with Voveti Prosecco, Lemon and lavender syrup. Bubbly, flowery and sweet, great for a celebration. Easy to make and impressive!Sparkling Lavender Cocktail

Did you celebrate Mother’s day? This Sparkling Lavender Cocktail with lemon is just perfect for the occasion. I just celebrated my first one as a new mom.

This post is sponsored by Voveti Prosecco.

I told you how excited I was about it last week.

Another reason to celebrate was that my husband and I have been together for 12 years. Yes, it has been this long…

There is nothing better than a Sparkling Lavender Cocktail that can make a celebration like this unforgettable. It is made with just 4 ingredients, two of which are water and sugar.

I love lavender, but what I love more about this lavender cocktail is VOVETI Prosecco.

Crafted from 100% Prosecco (Glera grapes), VOVETI Prosecco is a dry brut DOC Prosecco with tempered acidity and a fresh, graceful profile.

I also got a new lavender plant. It smells amazing!

Even my husband, who is not a huge fan of flowery cocktails, said he loved the rich floral freshness paired with fruity bubbles.

Marked by fine persistent bubbles, VOVETI Prosecco is dry and features flavors or pear, green apple, melon and ripe peach that endure on the palate and invite a second glass.

Summer it the time, when I like to create simple cocktail recipes. This Sparkling Lavender Cocktail cocktail will be nice to sip on poolside or serve to your guests at your next party.

Even though I keep complaining it has been cold around here, once it warms up, the weather stays hot and humid for about 3 months. This is the time, when I need a drink like this prosecco cocktail. It helps cool of from the heat.

This recipe is so easy! All you need to do is make the lavender simple syrup.

What ingredients do you need to make lavender cocktail?

You need to make the lavender simple syrup.

  • water
  • sugar
  • lavender flowers

For the cocktail:

  • lemon juice
  • fresh lavender
  • lemon slices
  • prosecco

I made it with dried lavender flowers, but I decorated the drink with fresh lavender. The lavender simple syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. I used about 1 tbsp of it for each cocktail. The idea was not to make this Sparkling Lavender Cocktail too sweet and I didn’t want the lavender flavor to be over powering. You still need to feel and taste the fruitiness. VOVETI Prosecco features a unique combination of  pear, green apple, melon and ripe peach flavors. It is perfect for summer.

How to make lavender cocktail?

  1. In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil, stir until sugar has dissolved. Boil for 2-3 minutes. Add lavender flowers.
  2. Remove from heat, cover to steep. Cool to room temperature. At this point, you can strain and discard the flowers, or leave them in the syrup.
  3. Add 1 tbsp of the lavender simple syrup to each cocktail glass (I used champagne glasses). Add 1 tsp lemon juice. Top with Voveti Prosecco. Garnish with fresh lavender and lemon.

Did you see the small bottles? Want to enjoy VOVETI Prosecco by yourself? These will be great, if you don’t want to open a big bottle of sparkling wine.

If you can not find fresh lavender springs, it is totally fine.

This Sparkling Lavender Cocktail will taste just as good without them.

VOVETI is a Prosecco crafted from vineyard to cellar meant to share, inspire, and entertain the senses. Enjoy the adventure!
