Meatless plant-based appetizers that actually taste great! Ready in under 30 minutes.

Hi, everyone! I hope you are having a nice week! I’m just hopping in quickly today to share my awesome experience with Gardein’s Golden Fishless Filets and Seven Grain Crispy Tenders.

Gardein makes delicious, convenient and healthier versions of the foods we all love to eat. This plant protein is better for your body and better for the planet. Made with non-GMO soy and wheat, ancient grains and veggies it provides the taste, texture and nutrition of meat but with less calories, less fat and no cholesterol.

Now is the time to clarify that I eat meat, but I do not mind going meatless for a few days and I’m always curious to try the meatless options out there. I’m grateful I got to taste Gardein’s products.

Immediately I had my eyes on their Golden Fishless Filets.

I love fish, but I very rarely make fried fillets. I just don’t have the time to do that, plus the smell is way more overwhelming than when I just grill fish or pan sear it.

These Fishless Fillets are perfect for a Fishless Friday, when you’d like to celebrate the end of the work week with a simple, clean effortless appetizer. They are ready to eat within minutes and you cook them frozen. I cooked mine in the oven (I currently do not use a microwave in my cooking). I served mine with tartar sauce and a light cabbage-carrot salad.

I also decided to give their Seven Grain Crispy Tenders a try. I almost wanted to call them “Chicken Tenders”, but there is no chicken inside.

They were juicy and delicious.

I made a quick cajun honey mustard dipping sauce with was the great addition, but feel free to serve them with a sauce of your choice.

My husband, who isn’t a big fan of meatless protein based frozen meals like Gardein agreed that both products tasted great! What an achievement.
